Our History

Start of Journey

In Jharkhand, a state renowned for its vibrant culture and breathtaking scenery, Kisan Mazdoor Berojgar Manch (KMBM) started its journey in 2011. Our goal has always been very clear: to address some of the most pressing issues that our communities are currently facing, including mental health, education, human trafficking, and agriculture.

The strong desire to take on these problems head-on led to the founding of KMBM. Many people in Jharkhand face challenges related to mental health, inadequate educational opportunities, human trafficking, and agricultural difficulties. For years, these issues have been impeding the progress of our communities.

Mental Well-Being

In our rural areas, mental health is often disregarded and misinterpreted. Our goal is to change that by offering counselling, vital mental health services, and awareness-raising educational initiatives. By our efforts, we have provided thousands of people with the knowledge and resources they need to live healthier lives, including support and understanding.

Education

The path to a better future lies in education. For this reason, we have established scholarship programmes, constructed schools and libraries, and made sure that both adults and children have access to high-quality education. Our vocational training programmes are made to give people real-world skills that will help them get better jobs and live better lives.

Human Trafficking

For many people in our region, human trafficking is an unpleasant reality. At KMBM, we put forth endless effort to stop human trafficking by means of outreach initiatives, search and rescue operations, and recovery initiatives. Our mission is to safeguard the weakest members of society and make sure that everyone can live in dignity and safety.

Farming

Jharkhand’s economy depends heavily on agriculture, but many farmers struggle because of outmoded practices and a lack of resources. To help farmers increase their output and incomes, we offer financial support, access to high-quality seeds and tools, and instruction in contemporary farming methods. Encouraging our farmers not only makes their lives better, but it also helps ensure our region’s food security.

KMBM has developed into a reliable ally for the people of Jharkhand over time. Our comprehensive strategy aids in addressing the underlying causes of poverty and inequality by emphasising mental health, education, combating human trafficking, and agriculture. We’re pleased with the advancements we’ve made and are steadfast in our resolve to positively impact the lives of those who most need it.
